Update as of December 7, 2024

Following a governance vote by the dYdX Community, support for the wethDYDX Smart Contract on the dYdX Chain is expected to be discontinued from June 2025. More information is available here. Users should note and understand that, any ethDYDX holders that do not interact with the wethDYDX Smart Contract prior to the date on which the dYdX Chain ceases to support the wethDYDX Smart Contract (i.e., June 2025) will likely be unable to convert their ethDYDX tokens into dYdX-Chain DYDX tokens in the future (potentially indefinitely).

DYDX Token Migration

Migrating your ethDYDX tokens from Ethereum to the dYdX Chain will enable you to stake in order to secure the network and participate in governance on the dYdX Chain.

Summary

  • Step 0 - Visit bridge.dydx.trade to initiate the migration process
  • Step 1 - Connect a wallet holding ethDYDX to generate dYdX Chain address
  • Step 2 - Enter the amount of ethDYDX token to migrate
  • Step 3 - Choose a recipient address to migration to on dYdX Chain
  • Step 4 - Preview migration details
  • Step 5 - Authorize the wethDYDX Smart Contract
  • Step 6 - Confirm migration by signing with wallet
  • Step 7 - Check status of your migration
